Sinopsis

This book aims to discuss the use of soft power in Colombia’s foreign policy toward South Korea, a strategic ally, with the goal of strengthening its geopolitical standing in the Asia-Pacific region. Therefore, three objectives are outlined for this research: to identify the features and characteristics of soft power in Colombian foreign policy; to conduct a detailed analysis of Colombia’s foreign policy toward South Korea, especially since the signing of the free trade agreement between the two countries, assessing its impact on their bilateral relations; and to explore the geopolitical strategies Colombia employs to integrate into the dynamics of the Asia Pacific.
